Experience

Week 1

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

First I visited the ‘The Ancient City’…Pompeii. It was a wonderful experience to visit the home of “Temple of Apollo” and “The House of the Faun”. I learned that its known for its nearby volcano, Vesuvius, which was also the cause of Pompeii’s destruction back in 79 CE.

Afterwards, we went on an adventure to a fancy place, The Royal Palace. It was an honor to visit a structure such as The Royal Palace for its precious history. It was built at the beginning of the 17th Century by the architect Domenico Fontana and has been remodelled several times.

As the last part of my week I visited the jaw-dropping landmarks and touristic spots of Rome. The famous Colosseum looked amazing up-close. It gave me the feel of a gladiator from Ancient Rome. And the other one being The Vatican. Renaissance frescoes in the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling Its Vatican Museums house ancient Roman sculptures such as the famed “Laocoön and His Sons” as well as Renaissance frescoes in the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling.

Week 2

Travel is never a matter of money, but of courage.

For the second week I traveled to Brunelleschi’s Dome. It was a pretty interesting place.

Iconic Renaissance cathedral dome designed in the 15th century by Filippo Brunelleschi.

Week 3

Not all those who wander are lost.

For the beginning of my third week, I visited Leaning Tower of Pisa, Rome. Tower of Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation.

Piazza San Marco is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as la Piazza. This place really carries its vibe from the past to the present. It gave me the feeling of actually being in 1177, the year it was built.

Week 4

No place is ever as bad as they tell you it’s going to be

For the first place of my last week, I went to Verona. Similar to Colosseum, Verona Arena is a bit smaller but has the same purpose. May not be famous but carries good moments for sure.

As the last part of mt trip, I checked out The Last Supper. It is one of the Western world’s most recognizable paintings
